The Department of Surface Engineering and Environmental Protection is contributing to students’ professional development for all specializations within Material Science and Engineering Faculty, in the fields of: heat treatment, surface engineering, thermal systems and equipments, environmental protection, industrial management and marketing. The research activity is envisioning primarily these fields with numerous collaborative contracts with industrial companies, national and international research grants and postgraduate learning throughout doctoral programs.
